Unwelcomed: A Fair Housing History of Sales & Lending Discrimination Exhibit

The Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana (FHCCI) presents Unwelcomed: A Fair Housing History of Sales & Lending Discrimination, an interactive exhibit. The exhibit educates participants on the systemic barriers that have impacted today’s neighborhoods through redlining, racial covenants, steering, neighborhood intimidation, and other forms of housing discrimination. The two-sided 12-panel exhibit was launched in April 2022 and, since then, has been traveling to a new location each month. Content specific to Tippecanoe County has been added to this exhibit, thanks to a special collaboration with the Racial Reconciliation of Greater Lafayette.

Erika Fotsch, Director of Education and Outreach at FHCCI, will make a presentation on Thursday, July 31, at 7 pm.

Enter Lafayette Church of the Brethren (1107 S. 18th St.) through the 18th Street entrance.
