Reproductive Choice

Every Hoosier should be able to make private reproductive healthcare decisions without governmental interference.

Reproductive rights are fundamental human rights.

  • Decisions regarding reproductive health are medical, not political, decisions. Doctors belong in your doctor’s office—not politicians.

  • Reproductive rights are economic and racial justice issues. People of color are disproportionately impacted by abortion bans. Black and Latinx pregnant people are more likely than their white peers to experience health complications during pregnancy and childbirth. We are committed to supporting politicians who will fight this disparity in a state that already has one of the highest maternal death rates in the country.

  • Indiana’s reputation have already and will continue to suffer as a result of extreme legislation. We strive to make Indiana a place where people and businesses want to plant roots and grow, and where our children and grandchildren have a chance to reach their potential and receive equitable healthcare, regardless of gender or reproductive potential.

  • The separation of church and state is a fundamental principle of our democracy. It is unconstitutional for the government to impose religious beliefs on its citizens by way of abortion bans.

  • Indiana politicians must be held accountable for imposing a government mandate on citizens’ private reproductive healthcare decisions, contrary to the wishes of the vast majority of Hoosiers. We aim to replace politicians with extreme views with elected officials who prioritize reproductive freedom.

We can’t give up on the future of Indiana. The time is now to fight back harder than we’ve ever had to fight before. But we can’t do it alone.
