Wabash River Enhancement Corporation WREC has been working hard over the past year to restore 20 acres of oak savanna at one of our properties. Funded by Duke Energy, we've been able to remove invasives, seed 20 acres with a diverse native seed mix, and now we're at the final step of this project. We have 200 native bur oak seedlings that need to get planted throughout the 20 acres.

We're looking for volunteers to help us get these babies in the ground! It's not hard labor, but there will be a lot of walking over uneven ground, and working in thorny brambles.
